If you haven’t already, get along to see the current exhibition at The Museum of Childhood, on until 14th April. It explores how childhood has transformed in Britain during the period between the London Olympic Games of 1948 and 2012. From NHS glasses in the 1950’s and the folding Maclaren buggy of the 60’s to Teletubbies and Ella’s Kitchen, it’s a skim the surface look at the big things that have changed children’s (and parents!) lives.
As well as objects to get all nostalgic over, and TV footage (including Teletubbies on a loop – not so good) there are some fantastic black and white photographs on show (some quick snaps below) that will definitely inspire our next fashion shoot.
